Ring in 2026 in style at New Year's Festival Dublin, Ireland’s biggest New Year celebration. Developed by Fáilte Ireland in partnership with the Office of Public Works, the festival will deliver three days of music and entertainment across Dublin, running from December 30, 2025, through January 1, 2026. Subject to licence.
The festival’s exciting programme of events was officially launched today [Monday November 17th] at Dublin Castle with Midnight Matinee headliners, BIIRD, along with Kila, Grooveline, Still Blue, Mundy, The Awning, Chubby Cat and The Wran. Part of Fáilte Ireland’s ‘Winter in Dublin’ programme, New Year’s Festival Dublin aims to establish Dublin as a must-visit destination to celebrate this New Year’s Eve.
This year’s festival promises an unforgettable experience as the city comes alive with music, entertainment, and a truly magical atmosphere. Bringing together some of the country’s best talents, the festival offers a host of music and entertainment guaranteed to entertain, with something for all ages.
Iconic Dublin venues Dublin Castle and Meeting House Square will host a thrilling lineup of events with Inhaler, BIIRD, Florence Road, Kila, Cliffords, Chasing Abbey, Madra Salach, Simple Things, Chubby Cat, Mundy, DUG, The Wran and The Awning and more all set to perform across the 3 day festival. The programme will also see the return of the NYF Dublin Fireworks Spectacular, with firework displays taking place in two locations across Dublin, in partnership with Fingal County Council and Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council (Subject to licence).

On 30 December, kick start your New Year celebrations at Echoes of Ireland in Dublin Castle with 4 concerts showcasing the best of Ireland including Cliffords, Madra Salach, Simple Things and Chubby Cat (4pm - 8pm, Free, Family-Friendly Events).
Discover an eclectic mix of live performances from Ireland’s up-and-coming musicians and DJs on the NYF Music Trail. Explore a wide range of genres, from traditional to rock, indie, and punk across various venues. (Free Event)
On 31 December, share a magical moment on New Year’s Eve together with family and friends at the very special earlier Countdown Concert Matinee - a midnight moment event for all ages. Featuring live performances from all female-trad supergroup BIIRD, with special guests Irish indie rock sensation Florence Road and DJ Shelly Gray. Tickets on sale now. Family ticket priced €24.90 (for a family of 4) with single tickets priced €9.90. (Ticketed event. 4pm with family-friendly midnight moment countdown at 6.30pm).

NYF Dublin Fireworks Spectacular returns following its debut last year, and promises to be more spectacular than ever, with dazzling firework displays lighting up the sky in two locations across Dublin, Howth Harbour and Dun Laoghaire Harbour on New Year's Eve, in partnership with Fingal County Council and Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council. (Free, Family-Friendly Events),
On 1 January 2026, after welcoming in the New Year, make it a full day of celebrations with family and friends at the New Year’s Day Concerts taking place in Dublin Castle and Meeting House Square. Join the festivities in Dublin Castle with live performances from Kíla, Chasing Abbey, Grooveline and Still Blue (1pm – 5pm, Free family friendly, non-ticketed event). In Meeting House Square, enjoy performances from Mundy, DUG, The Wran and The Awning (1pm – 5pm. Free family friendly, non ticketed event).
