New Year’s Festival Dublin Returns

With Spectacular Citywide Celebrations to Ring in 2026!

Dublin, Ireland: Ring in 2026 in style as New Year's Festival Dublin, Ireland’s biggest New Year celebration, announces its highly anticipated return! Developed by Fáilte Ireland in association with the Office of Public Works, the festival promises three days of festivities across Dublin, running from December 30, 2025, through January 1, 2026. Subject to licence.

Get ready for an unforgettable experience as the city comes alive with music, entertainment, and a truly magical atmosphere. Bringing together some of the country’s best talents, the festival offers a host of music and entertainment guaranteed to entertain, with something for all ages.

Iconic Dublin venues Dublin Castle and Meeting House Square will host a thrilling lineup of events. Prepare to be captivated by the Echoes of Ireland Concerts, feel the excitement of the Countdown Concert and the amazing Midnight Moment celebration, enjoy the special early Countdown Concert Matinee with family, explore the city and discover new music with the NYF Dublin Music Trail, be mesmerised by the dazzling NYF Dublin Fireworks Spectacular, experience the city enchanted at the NYF Dublin Street Procession and continue your celebrations with the New Year’s Day Concerts.

NYF Dublin Fireworks Spectacular will return following its debut last year, and promises to be more spectacular than ever, with dazzling firework displays lighting up the sky in two locations across Dublin, Howth Harbour and Dun Laoghaire Harbour, in partnership with Fingal County Council and Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council (subject to license).

Festival Highlights Include:

Echoes of Ireland Concerts (December 30): Kick off your celebrations with a series of concerts showcasing the best of Irish talent at Dublin Castle.
NYF Dublin Music Trail (December 30): Discover an eclectic mix of live performances from Ireland’s up-and-coming musicians and DJs across various venues. Explore a wide range of genres, from traditional to rock, indie, and punk.
NYF Dublin Procession (December 31): Experience the city enchanted as a stunning NYF Dublin Procession will weave its way through the streets of Dublin - with music, street performers and a touch of New Year magic! Bring all the family and join award winning street performers and marching bands for a spectacular street procession to celebrate the New year.
Countdown Concert Matinee (December 31): A special earlier countdown event for all ages, featuring live performances to share a magical midnight moment with your loved ones.
Countdown Concert (December 31): Ring in 2026 in spectacular fashion at Dublin Castle with an incredible lineup of live performances and experience the amazing Midnight Moment celebration in style.
NYF Dublin Fireworks Spectacular (December 31): Witness two magnificent fireworks displays choreographed to music, illuminating the skies of Howth Harbour and Dún Laoghaire Harbour.
New Year’s Day Concerts (January 1): Continue the celebrations with free, family-friendly concerts at Dublin Castle and Meeting House Square, featuring a host of fantastic performers to ease into the new year.
